LONDON [weeks 1&2]

Well first of all I'd like to state how blessed I've been to be a part of a program that gives me the opportunity to study and live in London for 6 weeks! I've been blown away by all the things that have been offered to me for free through my MFA program (including my entire education)...but now I get to live in London, see 11 shows (that I personally requested), take day trips to Avebury, Salisbury, Lacock, Brighton, Stratford, AND a 4 day trip to Edinburgh Scotland...and all of it is completely FREE for me!!! Sure I have to pay for my food...but considering I don't have to worry about lodging or travel costs...that's just fine with me!
In the first two weeks I've already seen 12 shows:

*Three Days of Rain (with James McAvoy)
*Dimetos (with Jonathan Pryce)
*Hairspray
*Madame De Sade (with Dame Judi Dench; whom I met afterwards)
*F**king Men
*Peer Gynt
*A Little Night of Music
*Romeo & Juliet (at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre)
*A Doll's House (with Gillian Anderson)
*Billy Elliot (Amazing!!!!!)
*The Observer
*The Man Who

We've gone on a coach tour around London and toured Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London with Official Blue Badge Tour Guides.
We took a day trip to Avebury (a Stonehenge type place where you can actually touch the stones), Lacock (where they filmed Harry Potter), and Salisbury.

I am so blessed...and feel honored to be here!
